Nobody’s side job anymore

In most offices someone becomes the unofficial pantry buyer by accident: filling a cart on the way in, keeping receipts in a desk drawer and waiting on reimbursement. Loom takes that job off their plate. We buy the food, drinks and kitchen goods your team uses and put them away on a regular schedule, so the coffee and snack shelf stay stocked between stops.

It runs as its own service, apart from restroom stocking. Tissue, hand towels and soap for restrooms are covered on the janitorial supplies page; this page is about what people eat and drink, and what they serve it in.

Who it suits

  • Offices: from a single suite to a multi-floor headquarters, where a full kitchen keeps people in the building at lunch.
  • Coworking spaces: shared kitchens that members judge the whole space by, and that see use at all hours.
  • Clinics and medical offices: staff break rooms that need restocking without pulling anyone off the front desk.
  • Shops and showrooms: back-room breakrooms for retail teams, plus coffee and water for customers in the waiting area.

Office kitchens across Loom’s regions

Pantry restocking runs across Loom’s service area, from downtown offices in San Francisco to business-park suites in Rancho Cordova. A stocked kitchen earns its place on long desk days, because every coffee that isn’t in the building means a trip out of it.

What a restock covers

The order is yours, built from what your team actually reaches for. A typical one covers:

  • Coffee in the form your kitchen uses, along with tea, sugar and creamer
  • Bottled water, sparkling water, juice and soda for the fridge
  • Shelf snacks such as granola bars, crackers, nuts, chips and fruit cups
  • Cups, plates, utensils and napkins

Nothing on it is fixed. The point is a breakroom stocked for the people who use it, whether that means three kinds of tea or one very large can of coffee.

Setting the order and the spend

Setup is a short conversation: what the breakroom holds now, what disappears first and what nobody touches. From there we write down the items to buy, preferences such as decaf or oat milk, and dietary needs such as gluten-free, nut-free, vegan or low-sugar choices. Each restock buys to that order.

Purchases stay inside a monthly figure you choose. A new hire’s favorite tea or a snack that has stopped moving is a quick message, added to the order. Seasonal swaps, such as more cold drinks through a Central Valley summer, are easy to add.

The list is revisited whenever your team changes. A new floor opening, a hiring wave or a move to hybrid days all shift what the kitchen goes through, and both the order and the monthly figure can move with them.

Timing with your janitorial visits

If Loom also cleans your building, pantry stops can line up with the cleaning schedule, so one company looks after the breakroom from the floor to the fridge. A daytime stop works well when the kitchen is open and the refrigerator can be checked; a stop paired with a scheduled cleaning visit suits offices that would rather not see us during the day.

Each stop leaves the shelves, fridge and coffee station stocked and in order, with older items moved to the front and the restock area tidied. Counter, sink and appliance cleaning stays with your regular office cleaning, and during long workdays a day porter covers spills and full bins between restocks.

What moves the monthly cost

Pantry service is priced from your office itself, and the cost moves with:

  • Headcount in the office
  • How much the team goes through between stops
  • The grade of coffee, snacks and drinks on the list
  • How often restocking happens, and whether it rides with cleaning visits
  • Your monthly purchasing budget

A few useful answers

Common questions

Can you stock decaf, oat milk or gluten-free snacks?

Yes. Preferences and dietary needs go into the order when it’s set up, and every restock buys to them.

Who decides how much we spend each month?

You do. Purchases stay within the number you set for the month, and changing that number takes one email.

Does pantry restocking include restroom paper and soap?

No, those belong to janitorial supplies, a separate service. The two pair easily, so one company can look after both the kitchen and the restrooms.

Do pantry stops include cleaning the kitchen?

Each stop leaves the restock area tidy, with shelves straightened, older items moved forward and expired items pulled from the fridge. Wiping counters and cleaning the sink, microwave and other appliances belong to office cleaning, which Loom can provide as a separate service.

Can pantry stops happen during the workday?

Yes. A daytime stop lets us check the fridge while the kitchen is open, or, for offices that also hire Loom to clean, it can be timed with an evening cleaning visit instead.
